A good index will ideally include not just the words used in the document, but also cross references to those terms which a reader will look for. For example in a book about childcare, the author may talk about “sleep problems for babies”. In that case, the index should contain words like “bedtime” and “sleep in infancy” in it, to enable cross referencing.

Indexing rates can be charged by the page, or by the hour, depending on your preferences. For journal indexes, consolidated rates by the article can also be quoted. However, the most common method of charging for indexing services is on a per-page basis. Our rates are very reasonable.

What other information do I need to provide?

Tell us your target audience, the page size and format, the number of index entries do you require per page, whether you want a tabular or other illustrated index and your format for delivery of the pages that you want indexed.

What are the delivery options that you provide?

The delivery will be via Email or electronic file transfer.
